Objectives: Demonstrate knowledge of Latin words by defining themWords in context and by placing derivatives in sentences. Show ability to analyze sentence structure by indentifying and translating indirect statement correctly; Analyze city life and country living based on Latin letters by stating 5 points or opinions

 Lesson or Activity: Joy 1 Quiz Read "vita rustica" pages 6-7 and answer questions on worksheet (NEW worksheet 35.7) ---write vocabulary on cards; verbs require 4 cards Assignment(s): Study vocabulary.

Tuesday September 1st

Lesson or Activity: Stamp vocabulary- --PRACTICE Vocabulary 35 Online.    Supine: write exercise B page 5   -Stamp

Assignment(s):

• Write derivative word study exercises ( A,B, C, D) in book page 19: copy all the words  Study Vocabulary 35 for quiz

Wednesday 2
 Lesson or Activity: Stage 35 Voc. Review, then  Vocabulary 35 Quiz.  Correct supine exercise-–- Write NEW derivative worksheet  35.9  (derivatives B are the same as word study)

Lesson or Activity: Review Derivatives 35 –--Model Indirect statement: review pages 12/13: active and passive infinitives in indirect statement-- Assignment(s):

·       Read culture 35 (pages 12-15) and answer questions in workbook (35.7);

·       Turn in derivatives to get them recorded (word study exercises+ worksheet) Study for Derivative 35 Quiz Print syllabus and bring to class with you
