The Latin club had a fun Saturnalia celebration at Elyssa's house (GRATIAS to Elyssa and to her wonderful parents!) Students ate, exchanged gifts and dressed in togas...Check out the pictures!

CENA NVPTIALIS

Latin III students re-enacted the marriage ceremony of confarreatio. Enjoy the pictures!

IN BASILICA

The Latin I class performed the scene in basilica, demonstrating GOOD Latin pronunciation and interpreting a story in a group.
KUDOS!

COMITIA

The Latin Club elected officers and discussed the style for a new T-shirt at a dinner at Russo's.
The majority seem to want a long sleeve black T-shirt, with Latin Club and SPQR in red on the front, and, on the back, the saying: LATINE DICTVM SIT ALTVM VIDETVR, in red.
